I've been speaking to Stratstone Lotus to-day and everything is in place:) I'll have more info soon.

Looks as if we will have a few Evo's Porshe's along on the day as well as Lotus.

Spectators are permitted but will not be allowed to park in the paddock area.

Lotus are bringing along demo cars with pro drivers for rides etc.:)

Might come along for a bit of a look.....not too far up the motorway for a bit of a spin with the kids.

Although my hankering for an Elise has been building again lately so it could well be my downfall......may need to find somewhere else to live then too ;) :D

Stratstone Lotus Cardiff in conjunction with Lotus Cars has organised and will
be hosting the day.
There will be Lotus demo cars on track driven by two top class drivers,
Alistair McQueen and Dave Minter are both experienced Lotus Engineers and
Instructors, who will be happy to share their wealth of knowledge on the day.
In addition they will be offering exhilarating passenger rides in the new
Elise S and formidable Exige S.

They don't have that new Lotus 211 trackcar going by anychance as well do they Kev.

Everyone will HAVE to attend the driver briefing at the start of the day if you miss this then you wont be going on the track:nono: Reserve list stand by to take the place of any late comers.

Everyone will need a crash helmet including any passengers arms and legs must be covered at all times so that rules out shorts and hula shirts:lol1:
I'll post up the times when I get them but expect it to be around 8.00 -8.AM

Noise limit is 105db but as long as its not stupid that everyone should be OK.

Please, please make sure you attend if you have your name down, if you cant then remove it so that someone else can have a go.

i think a meet prior to arrival could be a good idea. maybe macdonalds at culver or cardiff west services j33.

Hi guys

If you can be at llandow for around 9 that would be great.

The new Lotus 2 eleven might be making a apperance on the day but will not be flying around the track.

i am estimating around 50 cars there on the day !!!!!!

in the afternoon we will also be haveing a 1960's lotus formula 1 car turning up to have a go around the track.

i hope every one enjoys the day. and the weather is a little better then it has been over the last few days!!!!

I've got my track day cover in place:) just need to order some dry weather now:brickwall

im comming to watch im going to get some tips from the experts.i wish mine was built it would have been an ideal run out but im abit short of parts.

Weather is looking good so far for the weekend, and the car is back in one piece now.

Its had some minor cosmetic work and now ready to fly.

You should be in the garage building it, not on here deaming:lol1:

He keeps saying it'll be finished by xmas, so I think he's waiting for father Christmas to come along and turn his box of parts into a finish article overnight.

ill be done by christmas,you have my word the sva will be booked for jan and itll be on the road for the first show of next season it has to be ive got a bet to win.
