Stu, depends on how much you drink and eat!!! I think we spent £500-£600 on fuel last year, so if you can get a co-driver to share the costs and driving/navigating it helps a lot!! Quite a few people did the trip alone last time, but personally I wouldn't have wanted to.

What weve offered is pay 50% this month and final payment in July.

Fuel wise as stu states depends how you drive I averaged 20mpg last trip,

24mpg on the cruise out to Dole and back from the ring to the Ferry.

Im sharing driving accom and fuel with somebody, Alpine road days I think you are fine on your own (your busy) autoroute blasts can be a little lonely on your tod.

thanks for the info,,,give me over the weekend to decide

stu

ps,,,how many miles is the trip ?? (im 240 miles from dover)

Half the weight in the car means a lot less fuel tho mate !! lol :D

We need to start thinking about booking overnight accommodation for the Sunday night Stu - any preferences on where yet?

I renewed with Britannia - upgraded to their next level (hadn't bothered with European cover before), and Czech Republic was included in the cost - I checked that it covered all the countries we'll be visiting. From what they said, there's only a bit of Turkey that's not included in their cover.

Another driver signed up last night, gave him your details he may be after sharing accom. Think Keith will drive down with the group leaving sunday morning going straight to Interlaken.

Keiths a good guy came on the Euro Combo trip in 2006 he has a Evo IX GT, just sold his classic turbo.
