I don't stock them, I have a few spares that I keep in case I need them for a customers car. You can get them from the dealer I believe.

Any news?

GREGGYG 13 January 2007 05:41 PM

Hi Banny, not yet, I still haven't received the part! I called them Thursday and he assured me it was being posted the same day, if it's not here Monday morning, I'll call them. As soon as I recieve it, I will fit it straight away and post the result on here the same day! Thanks for asking!

Do you have them, and if so how much to get one from you.

I presume I just push it into the hose or is it a one way valve?

Just make one. Use a bit of brass, Ally or nylon and put a 1mm hole through it. If you have smaller the 1mm i.e 0.8mm start with that and work up until you get the required boost. If the restrictor is too small you will get boost spikes and surgung in higher gears.

How do you reset an ECU?

Laptop or disconnect the battery for a few hours ;)
If its running the jap map then id say it was the fuel that its running, mine has on several occasions retarded down even with ob in due to a bad batch of fuel, if its been remapped then take it back to where it was mapped and get them to check the multiplier, or just take it to a speciallist (or dealer who knows what they are doing ;)) and let them have a look :)

I am having similar problems now, did you find the solution int he end?/

I would also be interested to know if you fixed this or what fixed it?

The problem was a small brass valve in a t-pipe near the turbo. It simply was the wrong way round, it should be on the left side of the top of the T, and it was on the right side!

Look under the bonnet above the turbo, the 3 mm rubber T pipe comes off the actuator. Check the valve is inside the pipe to the left of the top of the T. You should be able to see a slight bulge in the pipe and feel the small valve.

There have been several similar stories regarding JDM's!
