no. A bit more than that. Skirts, roof, pillars and bumpers. All for a great price. If you look about our clubs site (or watch the video on the site homepage) you will see Alex_00s car - a modified mica red newage car. All the paint on that car is by the same person

I wanted an sti spoiler for my wrx, but had to get the prodrive one. My dealer told me i couldn't have an sti spoiler becuase they were too heavy for the wrx's suspension. Me now thinks he was talking porkies. I wish there was a smiley face for wanker.

Russellg911 21 November 2006 11:01 PM

Lol...too heavy for the suspension...what a clown...suprised he didnt tell you to put any shopping in the boot lol :D

the one i have got on the car now is really good quality, paint work is spot on, except there are 3 holes left open on either side of the spoiler which you cant see unless you duck your head under, which i thought was very bad workmanship consdering i paid over £500 for it but on the hole iam very happy with it

hope this helps!

there should be a cover for those holes, they are there so if you chose to split the spoiler you can, as there are extensions available to put inbetween:)

onslow 22 November 2006 12:45 PM

bought my replica spoiler from revolution a year ago and its a pretty good copy not wavy like some ive seen ive had comments on what a good copy it is
i was told when ordering it would use the standard holes but 2 dont line up so had to take a drill to the boot lid but the fitting kit makes it pretty straight forward
wish i was so happy with the quality of the spray job i had done locally

geordiewrx 22 November 2006 02:21 PM

onslow, have you found your car creaks on speed bumps and stuff, just i dont know if it's the boot support things or my suspension

so 370 all in with fitting kit inc.

Mine also has the 3 holes at either side, But its not an issue.

I got mine fitted at scoobyclinic and found two holes at either side so i just went to my local car place and bought some rubber bungs. fitted em took two seconds and they look fine.

Russellg911,

Milsport sell the spoilers and they are only in Enfield, IMO they come from the same place that ScoobyClinic etc get theirs so quality is V Good.
They use a sprayer in Buntingford who Ralph from Milsport raves about, I understand he will also fit it for you.

Milsport

Are you sure he didn't say too heavy for your springs..?

If so he means the boot torsen spring..:lol1: With the heavy STI spoiler the boot will not stay open..! :(

FFS Too heavy for suspension..

I'm with MaDass in keeping the WRX ironing board, these days people think it's ONLY a std WRX (rightly so) and I like the look on their faces when I'm in the mood..:D

cant say i ever noticed any difference tbh cos mine sounds like a bag of sh1te most of the time anyway
and my bootlid has no problems staying open
are the replica's lighter than the real deal subaru ones????

and its only held on by 4 nuts/bolts without out any problems not that ive been over 70mph of course:norty:

Rugger1 23 November 2006 04:23 PM

I can fully endorse waht Risktaker said.
Milsport are a very good/helpful company.
I shall use them again, the STi6 spoiler I bought from them was superb.

DCR59 23 November 2006 09:14 PM

I bought a JDM STi and it came with a low spoiler, so changed it to an STi replica from DRMOTORSPORT in WR Blue. Spoiler came painted and the paint match was spot on, 3 years later it still looks good.

Took about 15 minutes to fit, but you do need a deep 10mm socket to get the old spoiler off.
The STi spoiler fitted the original holes and the spoiler came with a very sticky double sided tape for across the centre area.

And the bootlid stays up on it's own.

I do think all the usual suppliers sell the same spoiler, so it's just a case of getting the best deal and paint finish.

Russellg911 23 November 2006 09:26 PM

Thanks again everyone :-)

jasonius 25 November 2006 04:09 PM

DRMOTORSPORT do an excellent replica STI8/9 spoiler painted and delivered for £350 iirc. They used to come with a white brake light too, but this has now been changed to a red due to a supply problem, or so I've been told.

Still very good though..!;)
