Edited: sorry that was for JTaylor

I don't think he was weird at all. Extreme and hedonistic for sure, but then I admire people who are prepared to push the boundaries of existence. Just a shame he fcuked up and made the quite literally fatal error of taking the asphyxiation too the point of unconsciousness.

Yes; Johnny Cash was a genius, but he died an old man. Surely the point here is that they died before their time?

Because he was a manic depressive genius with numerous addictions who didn't react well to treatment and failed to take his lithium regularly.

Hendrix
Morrison

I must be on another planet then. How the hell can you be a manic depressive with that kind of life and money :wonder:

Manic depression is an illness, much like any other. Fame and fortune don't stop you from having an illness. Ironically, it's likely that Kurt's illness greatly contributed to his creative flair. The additional irony was that he didn't want the fame and fortune, it just happened.

Lesley, Manic Depression is a clinical mental illness. Some people suffer from it regardless of their wealth and circumstances.

Yep, was a shame about Micheal Hutchence, the Kick album was the soundtrack to my youth (and J4cko's mate), tried to grow my hair like Micheal Hutchence and Jim Morrison but ended up looking like Screech off saved by the bell.
