'Pepper' shouldnt ever be above the white album or 'Revolver' and where was 'Rubber soul'.

Madonna shouldnt be in there.

Where was 'Wish you were here'??

'Imagine' at 21???

'Hotel california' at 95??

It changes each year with the age of the voters getting younger!!!

The fecking Tweets ought to be in front of the Stone Roses.

I agree with the top Album choice, though. :)

Horrible worrible music. Especially "I am the resurrection" Christ, if ever there was an object lesson in a band not knowing when to end a song, this is it.

The ending is awesome!

A great album but sooooooooooo badly recorded - almost as poorly recorded as The Joshua Tree.

They both sound like a cheap, old tape recorder was used to put them on tape.

I thought New Order's Low Life or Technique might have made the top 100......

OK Computer was a worthy winner.

I'm a big fan of alternative (or outré) Rock music, but for some reason the Stone Roses absolutely get on my baps. I can't explain it. :D

fatherpierre 17 October 2006 11:43 PM

I'd have The Super Furry Animals in the top 10, but doubt that would get any support.......

Surely that accolade goes to the beatles with hey jude. How to ruin a perfectly ok song with a load of dirge at the end. I don't know anyone who listens to all of it, once the main song is done the skip button gets used everytime. At least the s roses song develops and changes. Anyway, I am the resurrection works very well in indie clubs and is hugely popular, especially the last few minutes.

davegtt 18 October 2006 09:15 AM

Another one here who likes the Stone Roses, its something different which doesnt sound too bad at all.

Buckwheat 18 October 2006 09:36 AM

And I think they had a greater influence on much of the music that followed than Alanis Morissette did. :lol1:

Or, indeed, The Tweets.
