hateful stuff! after my friend and me went on a bender with a bottle of czech absinthe, i can understand why van gogh cut his ears off, the hangover i had made me want to cut my whole fcuking head off. its the only drinking session ive had where i cant remember a thing about the night either...

The only drink that has ever made me forget a night out. I'm told by witnesses I drank a few shots (5+) on top of a large amount of vodka at about 10pm. The only thing I remember is being escorted out of a club by some nice bouncers, who took pity on the 22 stone wretch in front of them and collared me a cab to my mates house.
When I woke up with the ****tiest hangover in existence, I was told by my mates new girlfriend I arrived home at 3 am, with my flies undone, without their jackets which were left at the club by me, and with 4ft of arse wipe hanging out the rear waistband of my jeans. It took 3 days to clear my hangover and I still do not know what the fcuk I did for nearly 5 hours that night. I'll not drink it again. |

Reminds me of the character Siadwell (pronounced Shadwell) in the Naked Video comedy series in the 80s. He was a Welsh loner living in a bedsit with thespian aspirations. He used to do a commentary sat on the end of his bed dressed in a parka or a lumberjack jacket. One episode he hit the Scotch and what you describe above is pretty much what happened to him. Classic! IIRC we used to manage to persuade someone to come all the way from Tenneriffe with a couple of bottles to make events go with a swing! I found some old pics at home the other day and most peeps are lying on the floor - infact all you can see of IM are the soles of his shoes!! :lol1: And he blamed it on 'medication'.... :rolleyes: :D |
