I feel one of those all-time-great SN threads coming on... something involving a rat, a septic tank and a large quantity of petrol and/or poisons. Take plenty of photos, I think we all deserve to see the moment when the rat scurries out of the way just as the septic tank empties its contents 100 feet into the air :D

mate, if you've ever seen a rat twatted with a shovel it's not the most pleasant thing to recomend. my boss flattened one a few years back and putting a C4 charge inside it couldn't have spread it any further!

Stand on the patio with spade raised - throw down some food - seeds, bacon, choccie, big mac etc - make sure there is planty of food. when the rat starts to munch, whak it with the flat of the spade. (Don't use the edge - it goes straight through and hurts like fek when you hit the ground)

Oh yes - if you are using a Big Mac, wear protective trousers - you don't want to get that stuff on your skin :eek:
