And the rest, one of my customers lives about 1 miles down the road past the petrol station going away from the pub and he lives in a £1.8 million house and drives a DB9 and his next door neighbour is one of the Everton footy players and drives a Bentley! :(

I beg to differ guys, I've always found that shell to be one of the best priced in the area, and I visit: HYDE, MARPLE (the most expensive :(), A6 STOCKPORT, A6 ON WAY TO MCR, ADLINGTON. I've since heard that Macc tesco is now 100 ron, so may give that a try after tomorrow :)
See you all tomorrow guys, I'll sort out a list in a moment, just tidying up the website, and sorting out all the names :)

Nope, not him. Alessandro Pistone is the player I was on about - didnt want to name drop ;) throughly nice chap and his wife is stunning!

If your driving round Wilmslow you'll know its them as they both have motors with Italian registered plates.

The Chief 04 February 2006 09:08 PM

Yeah quite a few footballers down there, Mr Rooney has just had a house built in Prestbury - absolutely massive:)

mykp 04 February 2006 09:16 PM

Yeah know where that is as well. Massive building work and the roads been full of vans for months.

Wish I had the money to buy land round that area. One of my mates is a BA pilot and he bought a house in Mottram 20 years ago. Price £40k

Price today - £1.6m

v-power is widely available in europe, I used it a lot through france, switzerland and germany in september last year, really can feel the difference in the car. No idea if they are going to launch over here though! :wonder:

Top day, hundreds of scoobies and some good nosh.

Appologies to those I took for a trip up and down the M6, thank god I had the sat nav with me otherwise we would have been lost for good.

cw42 05 February 2006 04:54 PM

Big thanks to skoosh and the staffs scoobys for inviting us down to this, it really was an excellent turnout of subarus :) Never seen so many in a field thats not the nbo :)
Some gorgeous cars there today, I'll post some pictures in the gallery later. Top turnout from the SMACS too, and to all those newbies, I hope you had a great time. Hope also that you've all got home ok, as I wasn't hanging about on the Ashbourne to Buxton road :)
See you all at the rolling road week after next, and those that are going, have a good drive around wales next sunday :)

chris.

What a great day out, Mags and myself really enjoyed it.
The one of the most memorable thing for me was when we were parked up waiting in the layby on the A50 just ouside Stoke and I lost count how many scoobies came thundering past us with horns sounding, we then joined at the back. Also people faces at the sound of all our cars in residential areas as we were nearing the meet itself.

Got caught behind that guy in the white punto on the Asbourne Rd on the way home as he nearly took the front off my car. We noticed he was trying to have a go at the Blue Bug eye with morettes (sorry I dont know your names)
Finally got past him after a few more bends by which time no sight of you guys.
I'll put a few pics up here later.
Thanks again great day
Warren & Mags

cw42 05 February 2006 06:31 PM

Glad to hear you had a good day warren, nice to see you on the meet :) The punto had something to prove I think, as it took me a while to get past him. The bugeye is Dr.P, (martin) :)

Looking forward to everyones pictures, post them here

chris.

mykp 05 February 2006 06:33 PM

What a great day out - the weather put a dampener on things but things soon started to get interesting, all was going well until we got split up at the start of those roadwork’s where the roundabout used to be near stoke (the lights took forever!!) then the fun started, supertouring took charge and after a bit of a wild goose chase we found the rest of the smacs lads pulled over in the lay by. What a great site it was to see all the midlands scoobs go past us (what great noise), once we made it to the bubble in - CW42 advised he was getting some grub early (damn good advise so i followed suit) - food was good apart from the hard roast potatoes.:(

Apologies supertouring for slowing you down a bit, :D

As I got back I tried to use my works jet wash to clean the 4 and a 1/2 inch of road salt caked on to the car but to no avail :wonder: (its going to need a damn good scrub)

Regards

Justin

WarrenSTI 05 February 2006 07:31 PM

The Chief 05 February 2006 07:43 PM

Thats an excellent picture mykp, is that done using stitching software?

Glad you all had a good time, see you on the next one :)

chris.

Martin-STI 05 February 2006 08:15 PM

Punto what Punto???? Was a bit of a toss pot when he pulled out on Warren, saw him in my mirror. He didnt slow me down due to followed DrP passed him. Dont know how fast we where going at one point but think I would have ended up walking for 6months if clocked.
Great fun though. Left DrP on A6 as I split off to Glossop.
