John F
can't wait to feel the wind in my hair (and pants) do i have to wear a flying jacket and long white scarf with tassels on it?

johnfelstead 10 October 2000 08:22 PM

Just realised its children in need weekend on the 19th.

Do you think you guys would pay a small amount towards this charity for a run in my car? Say 3 laps as a passenger, one warm up, one fast lap, one cooling down.

I would make it interesting for you.

if so what sort of money do you think i could raise per run.

Of course i would cover all costs and 100% of the money raised would go to the charity.

what do you think?

howardb 10 October 2000 09:50 PM

Chuckster:
I'll take you up on your offer of a ride around.

JohnFelstead:
I'm 6ft3 and circa 17 stone. If I fit in your car, how about a donation of £10 for a ride?

Howard.

DocJock 10 October 2000 09:58 PM

John

Excellent idea mate. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Maybe this could be expanded on at future trackdays to benefit Scoobyaid.
Bet you'd raise the most though http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Now that it's becoming a scooby event http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif any one had any thoughts re Stef's comment about a small contribution each to get Tyres Northampton there.

We all know the good work they do for us and how many times they have got people out of a hole http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

I for one have no problem paying a small extra contribution for there support

Rikki23 19 October 2000 12:40 AM

I'd love to come. What time will it finish because I have football in the morning?

Would anyone be willing to take me for a passenger ride?

Craig H 19 October 2000 09:54 AM

As I'm not going on holiday now http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif, I may wonder along.

Won't be Linked, so I'll probably cause a major traffice jam.

Assuming it's back.............

cue J http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Stef 19 October 2000 02:54 PM

Riki.
Most people will be happy to take you for a ride.
