Now my understanding is that its only females that use this when either talking on msn, txting or emails I feel its a girlie saying full stop :cuckoo: So whad'ya reckon ?? :D |
if she said LOL to a loved one in a text it means you're a clown and she is treating you with that reciprocal retort, befitting of a clown? It's not a compliment, it's purely a responsive noun LOL :0

sorry but text LOL and internet forum LOL are 2 different things. LOL in txt speak is a salutation for ending a message and means Lots of Love while LOL in forum speak is Laugh out loud. i think LOL in text messaging is a girlie thing

Ever since I saw 'lol' on AoL chat about 10 years ago, I though it was an extremely sad thing to type :p, lol! ...Aw, bolloks!
I use it very rarely, although I couldn't honestly say I've never used it! Smilies are great though :lol1: What's wrong with just typing 'ha ha' or 'he he' - much less gay/american :D |

I was just one of those annoying kids who went on there with my mates with the sole intention of winding people up! :D:D Used to do a similar thing with a CB radio, p1ssing off all the radio hams! :lol1: |
Yeah yeah, we believe you ;) Don't HAMs use HAM radio instead of localised CB? Mind you, back when CB was fashionable I remember my Dad having a slightly illegal 100ft aerial in the back garden ;)
|
You seem to know a lot about it :Suspiciou ;)
You're right though, hams don't speak to each other do they? They just send signals or something like that. |
My uncle is a HAM, so are some guys at work. They're a bit different if you ask me. They do talk, but it's a bit G9JUE or something. I don't really get it, but it's probably cool when you talk to people on the other side of the planet. IRC works for me.
