They haven't gone into liquidation, but it would appear they are in trouble.

wouldn't worry about that pressbox article. Most of it is wrong, I mean they can't even get the name of the TV programme right so what's the chances of them getting any of the facts correct???

Usually red letter days cost 80-100 quid more than booking direct as I found out a silverstone. Book supercar driving days direct with the track.

I don't understand. If they're in financial trouble then fair enough - but if they're not bankrupt then how can they not give you a refund. At the moment it sounds more like fraud to me.

It appears you are still able to purchase experiences from their website though! That's naughty if their financial doom is truth!!

It looks as if Peter Jones may be taking over so if you've booked an event they may still honour it...

He has, but unless you bought direct with a credit card he wont. They dont seem to be doong anything for peopel who purchased through retailers...

Its not RLD's fault that you can't push a Ferrari around the circuit - that's down to the circuit owners!
When I found out how much they creamed off the top, I did go straight to the source instead and it was just as easy. RLd were unique when they started, now Virgin, WHsmiths, Boots all offer this kind of package too - and you can buy it off the shelf in a shop - they obviously couldn't cope with the competition |
Had one of these booked for Sat 6th August. Got a call on Thursday saying it was cancelled due to the company going into administration. :(
Got another call today saying that the new owners of the company were going to honour the booking, and it was back on! :D Off to Prestwold Hall in Loughborough tomorrow for the Ferrari Driving Experience. |
