I have recently been asked if we (Scoobycity) could attend a Fun Day / Fete in Caister which is to raise money for children with cerebral palsy. It is on the same day as this event but is 10mins from Yarmouth so after speaking to Tiny we've agreed we could combine the two.

The Fun day starts at around 10am so I am planning to get all the local Scoobycity members to gather at the Fun day in Caister around this time then Tiny will bring along you lot when you arrive early afternoon.

We'll stick around at the Fun day for an hour or two then revert back to our initial location on the seafront at Yarmouth.

The day itself sounds alot of fun. There will be a live band, a beer tent (hopefully), bbqs, ferret racing, balloon race, fairground rides, bouncy castles a reptile show, we will also have the local news papers there and im hoping beech f.m which is the local radio station for yarmouth area will bring there outside broadcast with them. Also attending will be a Harley Davidson club and the East Coast Truckers.

Most important however its all for a great cause which I know you're all so good at supporting.

The location is only 10mins from Yarmouth sea front. The actual address is Caister Youth and Community Centre, Yarmouth Road, Caister on sea, Gt Yarmouth, NR30
5BS.

Hope this is ok for everyone and if anyone has any ideas how we can raise some money to help them out I'm all ears.

Heard a few concerns at SBO about distance to the fete from the front at Yarmouth.

Just to set a few minds at rest.The fete is at Caister not Cromer. ;)

From Gapton Hall Road Retail Park, Gt. Yarmouth (Where we had the pre-meet for the East Coast Charity Run) to Yarmouth Road, Caister-on-Sea it is 3.5 miles.
