I can't believe it. Some stupid bird in a smart car has just rear ended me. :( :mad:
Was sat still at zebra crossing with someone crossing, and wham, my exit pipe was invaded. Car poorly! Don't have any pics, but suffice to say, as is, rolling road may be out. I'm gonna try desparately to get repaired before next sunday. Need help with bodyshops. Anybody recommed any around newcastle? Will be calling Alyn at AS first thing in morning as car was booked in. Hoping to still put it in for mechanical stuff and just fix cosmetic stuff next week, before rolling road day. Everyone keep your fingers crossed.

Oh, forgot to add, smart car was 2 days old, and bird was not insured!!!!!!! She's offered to pay private at least, and on the bright side, her front is far worse!

Martin my new tweek is a new set of disks and some tyres still haven't decided which to go for camskills have run out of 18" toyo t1s...but they have the toyo R888s in stock and the new dunlop super sport race tyres decisions.....decisions.

Suddenly had a great idea Martin. Don't know if possible, but do you think you could get hold of a noise meter for the rolling road day. People always asking about dB of certain exhausts etc????

Ile bring mine on the day and test anyones exhaust on request. Ile even calibrate it between each run. Hows that for service?

Holy sh*t, have heard my new exhaust (changed back box after little bumb the other day). OMFG!!!!!!! Excellent :D :D
On tickover, retains a nice subtle burble, anything over 2000 revs, and, well, errr, words fail me!
Would like to publicly appologise to Alyn at AS cause he's been a bit embarrased at having to drive it round. ;)
Thanks to Maverick in advance for bringing the sound meter on Sunday. The meter could have been one of my better ideas. Not quite sure about the exhaust yet though. Will have to try it for a bit once get car back.

Dion is the new exhaust on the same level as mine or louder?:)

Don't know. Haven't got car back yet. Would be surprised if it's louder than yours. That's just insanely loud. But then again, i've only heard mine inside the car at lowish revs. Will be nice to hear it at Well lane. Not often you can hear your exhaust from outside the car when its "travelling" .
