And preceisely how much money has been thrown at abortive IT projects - with the ultimate one (ID cards) still to come ?

Unfortunately I think you are right - 5 more years of New Labour is all but inevitable - Lord alone knows what kind of state this country's going to be in by 2010.

Well it can't get repo'd as I own it - was able to pay off the mortgage early due to low interest rates under Labour ;)

Not sure if owning a property in the UK is a good or bad thing though given the future prospects of the country ;)

Ah yes - homosexuality - the true grass root Tories last bastion for evidence of moral decay - like people in senior positions were never gay at any time before the last eight years

Believe it or not, I am FULLY in agreement with you regards LSA's .. they are paid 1/4 of a teachers pay and work the same hours as a teacher (if not more!)

What makes me laugh is the teachers get 3.5% PLUS an increment of about £1200 EACH YEAR! and they STILL moan!

Teachers workload is being reduced and their wages hiked up RAPIDLY - the Assistants are looked down upon by the teachers ... and its a disgrace! I am fighting my corner to resolve this .... but the LSA'a need to join the Brighton lot and walk out!

I have nothing against gay people and I am sorry if I offended your sexuality Tiggers. The point I was making was that NO conservative MP was ever caught romping on Clapham Common etc. Have I made my point now?

:D :D

Well *I* think that Aitken and Archer's crimes were just a little more serious than a romp on Clapham Common - maybe others don't quite feel the same way - hmm? Have I made *my* point now? ;)

pslewis 16 January 2005 09:46 PM

I thought there were plenty with Oranges stuffed in their gobs and with plastic bags over their heads whilst other gays whipped them with the Womens Weekly??

tiggers.

No, because they either get one of their cronies in to have an enquiry of which the result is obvious before it actually appears or as in the case of Mandelson you can just say you "forgot to dot a few i's and cross a few T's" on your mortgage application and everthings OK.

You say Archers and Aitkens crimes were serious. What about Blair lying to parliament time after time about WMD which led to the death of not only Uk soldiers but 1000s of innocent Iraqis as well.. Thats not serious is it. Take your rose tinted spectacle off Tiggers.

No Chip, what I actually said in fairly plain and easy to understand English is that IMO they are more serious than a romp on Clapham Common.

Oh and I have two eyes thanks :D

The current lot are as bad as the previous incumbents IMHO - I just wish people like you would drop this rose tinted spectacles crap about the Tories.

tiggers.

yes i still own a house, i lost the other one due to getting divorced..

if i recall, the goverment at that time actually understood the concept of divorce, and the costs that parents had to accept, and tax breaks were granted..

what did your so called prudent robber do.. removed all tax breaks for 2 years..whilst he figured out what to do...

and when questions were asked, the reply was.. well you voted him in..

no i feckin didnt!!!

and what was the magical instrument he brought in..

tax credit, to which guess what,, i,m not entitled..

i hope he screws you and your pensions blind...

Try reading my posts a little more - I'm no real fan of the current governemnt, but even less so of the previous one - he's no more mine than yours - that's so called democaracy for you. As far as I can see we're screwed no matter which lot you vote in (I say 'you' as I shan't be bothering - what's the point of voting of there's nothing to vote for).
