SUBTYPER 09 March 2005 09:42 PM

I thought the Type R was capable of handbrake turns because it unlocked the dccd

Yes you can handbrake the Type R, just treat it as a rear wheel drive car and dip the clutch.

So you've blown your engine in an attempt to out do a m8 in a GT4 ?

bigscottyboy 10 March 2005 03:20 PM

Yip!

I hope you tell him the car is in for ' serious performance upgrades ' and you will ' hand his ass to him on a plate' when its completed :D

bigscottyboy 10 March 2005 03:40 PM

lol, just puttin a standard wrx engine in it just now,not sure about spendin much on the engine due to the cars age,and the fact you never see the money you spend on modifications when you sell the car.Toying with the idea of buyin another engine, buildin it up over time then dropping it in when its done.

SUBTYPER 10 March 2005 03:44 PM

Well Scotty guess it proves you cant do doughnuts in WRX`s. Shame it cost you the engine though. I guess i gonna leave the doughnuts to the people that can afford the repairs. LOL

bigscottyboy 10 March 2005 03:47 PM

LOL nah you can do them, just dont take the revs as high as i did or do them for as long with standard top mount intercooler!

SUBTYPER 10 March 2005 03:51 PM

Ok man you talked me into doing one. No more mind One should be ok LOL.
