Has anyone had any problems with a re-con engine and how long are they expected to last?

HI,

I have also had a big end failure at circa 60,000. It was covered under the entended warrenty so did not cost me anything. By the way the garage were talking I think it is a fairly common problem.

I realise there was a problem with lots of cars of that age, but wondered if re-con engines had a similar lifespan to original engines.
