Nothing better than a good song and a good blast...

At the moment in my cd changer I have...

Compilation CD-R of current stuff
Genesis - Disc 1 of Musica bootleg (awesome for Duke stuff)
Marillion - Disc 1 of Marbles album
Blind Boys of Alabama - Higher Ground
Sounds of Blackness, can't remember title the one with Optimistic and Pressure
Ice Cube - The Predator

And about a thousand other discs sitting in various locations inside my motor  Keep meaning to clear them out, they're probably worth more than the actual car :D

If I'm driving somewhere that takes a while I get my 'special' CD-R out.

Supper's Ready by Genesis
Echoes by Pink Floyd
Plague of Ghosts by Fish

Three tracks and I'm set for a magic one and a half hours driving. Awesome :D :D :D

I'm glad to see that the majority seems to involve rock of some form!!!!
I wonder if anyone else, as crazy as me, is listening to Dave Lee Roth at work! can't beat Steve Vai's guitar playing.

And a shameless plug while on the subject of music, my band is playing in the Tap and Spile in Whitby tonight if anyone is about. I'm the bloke stood in the corner with a rather nice USA jazz bass and large Ashdown bass stack :D

Oh, and the misses giving it some..... faster faster, faster faster, and thats only when we are in bed, it gets worse in the car....lol.....

Anything to calm me down, every time I get in to the car I get these horns coming
out of my head. My right foot has only two action's, all or nothing.
I've not yet worked out what that middle peddle is for yet....... any ideas anyone.

Anyone got Incubus "Crow left of Murder" or the New Lostprophets album or the new Snow Patrol Album - any good and how do they compare to say the Foos?

Enjoy

little_idiot 14 May 2004 02:43 PM

Incubus 'a crow left of the murder' is awesome, but Incubus are an awesome band.

It's more mature than their early stuff, but I would have to say that out of them all, 'morning view' and 'make yourself' are the best 2.

Not heard lost prophets new one yet, but their singles off it have been great
