is £200 and £5 delivery

so the total is £205 all in.

I dont know how long the site will be up ive just ordered mine.

Just purchased mine.

The link is to purchase @ £200 + £10 delivery NOT £5 Delivery

Therefore total is £210 - still an absolute bargin when you consider the hike in insurance premium for having too many points.

It is a bargain ;)

I will most likely order one in the next 36 hours if the buy is still open.

Sounds like a must have :-)

I purchased one last night. Tonight I read this article http://www.ukspeedtraps.co.uk/jamlaw.htm Anybone care to give their views, experiences of using them etc. Positive and negative although positive would ease my mind ;)

"The car had been recorded speeding on six different occasions around Cardiff and the south Wales valleys. However, a reading of how fast it was traveling could not be obtained because the jammer device interfered with the detectors."

The thing with the L1 is once it detects a laser it jams for 5 seconds, to allow you to check your speed, then disables for 30 seconds. The laser gun then gets a reading. No worries!
Your not stopping them reading your speed, just giving yourself oportunity to check and adjust accordingly.

Has anyone sited their switch/LED in the spare switch blanking plate located next to the fog light/waterspray switches. Seems like the ideal place for it.

Talking about an STi7/8

What are the chances of resurrecting this deal? I had a very close call last night! :(

Well, decided to modify the blank switch to hold the LED and toggle switch. Then decided to go for a latching switch with built in Led instead. I think it looks good. Colour change of the lamp cover is a 1 min job. Think I'll stick with green as it's more in keeping with the other switches. What the heck, I'll change it to suit my mood ;)

I emailed the radarshop on Friday afternoon to see if the deal is still on. I expect they will reply tomorrow at some point. I hope the deal is still on as I had a close one today with some sly Policemen deciding to use the mobile unit 200 yards before a Gatso whilst hidden in a lay-by.

Here's hoping!

I receieved an email from radarshop and sadly they said the deal is off.

Anyone fancy trying to get another group buy on the go?

Cheers,

Graham

Had mine fitted today, but want make sure it works now.
Tried the ir remote control test with 6 different remotes & nothing.
Has anyone had any success with this test?

dave.

msp1 19 March 2004 09:50 PM

Remote controls don't do it for me.

Check out this thread http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=310078

Mine beeps nicely when I turn it on. Will try and find a van in the near future to make sure I'm getting my moneys worth.
