Alright guys, Jobers rang scoobyclinic first thing this morning, the guy who owns it told him that he can supply and fit a wrx engine for £1500, how mads that? The old garage wanted £3000 just for the engine, but it just goes to show how good this scoobyclinic is, they sent a carrier straight down for his motor and it is now being prepared up there, the guys seem to think that they should have it ready by Saturday.
I was off work this afternoon so I took a drive over there to see if they could fit a turbo timer for me, that place is right out in the sticks, Adam was right you have to drive through this ford and up this narrow track to get to it, it is a farm yard until you look closely and see the amount of Impreza's that are there waiting to be abused, first one you notice is a tidy 22B, than another one, god knows how many wrx's, all having work carried out, I tell ya my jaw was on the floor, amazing motors. Anyway it turns out that they need the car for a fair few hours to fit the timer, so I decided on a nice turbo gauge with a carbon pillar mount, very tasty, could get really carried away there, they have so much knowledge about Impreza's and you can tell that they are totally nuts on them, top guys, really recommend them, going to pop back up on Saturday to get a HKS timer fitted, might just take the camera this time get a few snaps.
Speaking to a few of the guys up there, they said that they are going down to the Longeaton meet on the 9th, should be a top afternoon, well up for it.

Kev mate, got a timer fitted at the scoobyclinic yesterday, me and jobbers went up to see his motor, whilst we were there got the timer fitted, mate you going to have to pay them a visit, they are such sound guys, they really know what they are talking about and all of them are mad about impreza's.
Are you still going to Long Eaton? Be good if we could arrange a convoy down.

TSL do the rear clusters for £230 + vat + fitting. so i've opted to waited for a second hand pair to come up at scoobyclinic.
The rear droplinks made a difference on my setup, combined with the geometry.

I think were all over at Long Eaton this sunday.

i think the nearest is going to have to be horncastle, i don't think theres a shell garage in newark, never looked for petrol in sleaford, loads at notts.

my ecu's been mapped for optimax and half a tin of proboost, it looks like its a drive out to horncastle one night this week for me.
cool, its an excellant road from bardney to horncastle.
