@ Dazza's STi - nope just a quick pic a few days after I'd polished the motor and it had to go and rain on me :)

Talking of which, spent a few hours yesterday washing and waxing...after the wash I was in two minds as to whether I should wax as the motor looked as shiny a new button. Then I remembered autumn is here so better protect my P&J. Amazing how much deeper the WR Blue looks after waxing with Swissol.

Best one has got to be Swissol Divine Wax (Special Order only) £1,120 for 400ml  :D

If its a brand new car dont polish it put a glaze on the paint, these are non-abrasive. Zymol Titanium or Swissol are the ones to go for.
They are expensive but you just spent how much? on a new motor, so this is really peanuts. The white residue that 'polishes' like Autoglym and McGuirs leave is clay, the finer the clay the less abrasive the polish. Most polishes are like fine wet and dry they smooth the surface of the paint, taking a little off each time, thats what a lot of the swirls you see (that and rubbing dirt round the surface cause its not cleaned properly)are. So put a glaze on it.... First application is a bit long winded, but after that its childs play. Try it you will not be disappointed.
