The only helpful info on here will tell people which are the winning cards ie I have loads of M3 wheels TT tyres and crysler crossfire cars and they are not going to win me a thing.
As far as I can work out the winnnig cards are

1> Audi TT roadster car
2> BMW M3 convertable car
3> Chyrsler crossfire wheel
4> BMW Z4 car
5> Mercedes CLK tyre
6> BMW X5 tyre

can anyone fill in th rest

AlanS, WTF are you talking about? That green cars are allegedly unlucky, and that that's got *anything* to do with being a winner of this Optimax game? Or just that Kermit was green? Is that your idea of a "cryptic" joke?? Jesus. For all your references to Muppets, please don't stray into Muppet Forum, i don't think we could cope with the depth of your sense of humour. When you've won one of these cars, come and rub my nose in it. I'll be waiting a loooooong time. And er, no, Financial Times, if that's relevant at all...

BMW bikes - talking sense. There is a full list on SN from all the previous threads on this in fact, probably available in Search somewhere...

Pretty much no-one wins these things.

there's a few of the 'winning' cards about so that the game is 'legal' but the chances of getting one is tiny. Shell will have also taken insurance against people winning as that's how craps odds there are.

Like to know what the actual odds are, bet there about the same as on the lottery for 5 numbers I reckon.

5 numbers on the lottery will net you about £2-3k, and will have cost you to try. Winning this promotion will net you £20-50k and will have cost nothing. Therefore better odds than the lottery:)

Indeed. But the chances of winning an Optimax prize in conjunction with a total stranger on here make the odds on landing the jackpot, at 14 million to 1, highly attractive, all of a sudden..!
