P1 must be good cus everyone keeps talking about them :)
Enough said Kev... |
once you get close to 300bhp then you need plenty of bhp more to show a big difference. Around the ring its all about track knowledge and committment.

If you ask tiff needel? he will say boxster but he also says all diesels are slow :D
|
Check this out, it's just a Turbo (old shape), but I'd go for the P1 based on this.

not much in it is there:D

The Boxster S kicks the Turbos arse from 0-200(125mph)
I always thought my Impreza was slow at the top end. glad I got rid and got a real sports car! |
It's a sad day when people think a sanitized POS like a Boxster is a "true sports car". Porsche, like Ferrari, have engineered out all the flair of their original cars, because they were just too scary for the idiots that wanted to buy them.
And yes, I have driven one Rob |
I pas countless scoobys in my MR2 Turbo... They are either in traffic jams or showrooms, but that doesn't count, does it!
Boxter is supposed to be one of the best dry hanling cars out there, and the scooby is supoposed to be good handling anytime! Quit bickering, and admit that in some situations the NBoxter will beat the scooby, and vice versa! Bloody kids! |
It's not all about speed, it's about the total package and you can keep you spunk tin fiesta
|
I owned a Scooby and test drove a Boxster S. The interior of the Porsche was vastly superior, around the ring it would do a very similar time to a P1 and is an all round good car. However it simply didn't *feel* nearly as fast or fun as a P1 cos it was smoother and more refined. If was to choose between them I would rather live with the P1.
BTW I now own a M5 which compensates for being too smooth and refined with 400bhp and RWD. |
scoobykev u are here too hey matey :D nice one
