Yep, and it should be officially imported into the UK from this autumn.
I read somewhere that a certain J Button after driving one in Japan, begged Honda UK to import them......... Now, whether or not there is an ounce of truth in the above I couldn't say but it would make a fantastic challenger to GT3 and the 360 Stradale. |
Import one, he has bought it and it is waiting at Honda UK for his return to the country, apparently upon doing some testing in Japan Honda "Convinced" him to try one out. The result he ordered on after getting out of the car. I am sure that he got a discount aswell!!!

Blow Dog -- if I was spending 70k on that NSX I would insist that they put the pop-up headlights on it. I reckon if I had a spare 70k knocking around I'd manage to persuade them to do it (they must carry the units as spares for the old NSXs).

70K thats a joke right! GT3 money!
...and they forgot to paint to bonnet! However good it is, I cannot see honda selling many 70k cars in the UK. http://www2.uk.porsche.com/english/g...n1_800x600.jpg |
I really did consider one but it just lost out on the practicality offered by my car. It's a stunning car.
Also looking at these new GT3's, mmmmmmm... Popped into a Porsche dealer in Germany this weekend, they were about as interested in me as J-Lo....must be an international Porsche pact! Cem |
Its looking like a fantastic fight coming up - M3CSL, 911 GT3, NSX-R, 360 Stradale!!!!
Personally if Honda made the NSX type R in other colours than white i'd alredy be on the waiting list. Shame.... |
427... you should post that everywhere you can... as good a summation of the NSX as I have seen... it is a fantastic car that hurts too much European pride to be really appreciated here... I am lucky enough to get to drive one of the first production run NSXs' (they were harder and were set exactly as Ayrton Senna dictated) I am yet to drive the 'R' but from what I have been told it is simply astounding... better even than the first '91 cars (technology moves on, no reflection on AS) The quality and purity of the NSX parts make it too 'clever' for many... their loss...

Thank you and **** you too cossie427 ;)
Evening Mycroft ! Not seen you about lately. I am sorry but a 70k Honda makes a GT3 look like a bargain, Porsche must be laughing all the way to the bank at that! |
To get a road car to be fully prepared to race spec, you'd have to spend around 30k ontop of the price of a base model, and here you have an race prepped exotic for 15k more. Cant be bothered to argue, the GT3 is a better bet though, admit it, go on, 75K for a 390bhp n/a car.....bargain. Serious mode on - All the track days I have been to, the GT3's have always been the quickest cars out. This is a picture I took of the Type R being tested at the ring. A good spot for someone who know jask sh!t about cars. http://www.dave.malings.btinternet.c...s/whitensx.JPG |
Hi Type R
I own a NSX as Type R knows it is a beautiful car with the styling to match any Ferrari. More reliable cheaper to run and will hold it's own with most cars on Track. See http://www.monsterevo.co.uk/NSX/ for Pics Or video's below http://www.monsterevo.co.uk/Trackdays/NSX%20Palmer%20Bedford/ http://www.monsterevo.co.uk/Trackdays/Cadwell%20MLR/ I have also just bought a Scooby Type R:) Dale |
TBH, the more people who don't "get" NSXs the better, as it leaves more of the cars for the rest of us ;)

I love 911's and Honda's but check out some of the results on howfast.com!!!!
