Just been out for a run in a Chimera 400. What a noise! :D
The performance was good as well, but we weren't on the best roads for it (quite rough and bumpy) All of the midrange torque was very impressive. I got to drive it briefly, and thought that most of the controls needed treetrunk like arms to operate! I expect that I'd quickly get used to it. The best bit is that Nic could insure one with Diamond for £1023!! (With NO NCB and me on the policy) I'm 24, she's 26. :D Looks like it may be a possibility :D |
stiff controls make the car, shove the clutch down, shove it into the next gear......and bloody fly!
|
I didnt find the controls that heavy when I drove the 450. I was at least expecting the clutch to be a nightmare!!
Maybe I have been spending too much time in the gym;) Cheers for the insurance advise guys - gonna ring around this week and see what quotes I get. Not gonna let a poxy insurance company stand in my way of TVR ownership:D:D |
I think the above post should be Peart Associates (based in Cumbria...I was with them when I had a TVR 350i...very friendly and helpful, and good for claims too)
Adrian Flux might also be worth trying out |
Scumbags right :)
They should be Peart not Pearl.......................... ;) J |
