Daren,

That's the same engine as my Savage.

:D

I heard some bad things about fusion's. To much power for the chassis, apparently they just pull wheelies all the time due to the power at the rear. My TS4-N is still sat in its box from when we bought our house 2 months ago. Saying that I just bought 2 sets of new tyres (Touring and Rally) and wheels :D

darlodge, i couldnt get any wheelies out of the thing, but heaps of wheelspin.

they really take a bit of setting up and looking after, as after 1 small knock, can seriously hamper geometry!!!!

they are a bit flimsey for me, but i know 3 people who love them.

one of them hit my vs-one side on (full fooking pelt), and he mangled his zorst, fueltank, driveshafts, and steerig rods.

i managed to just sustain a shattered wheel bearing!!!

bit of luck there i think.

however, i will stick with my trusty old buggy for a while!!!

ps: Oi Jason, i stacked my plane by the way and took a chunk out of the wing LOL. - it will be up on ebay soon..... LOL.

LOL @ Daren.

It was bound to happen. Was it on the maiden flight?

Did you get any video footage?

You spanner.:D

beemerboy 15 May 2003 01:35 PM

yep, i got some on vid.
it was the second flight, well if you can call the first one a flight!!!!

my brother in law was on the camera, and he doesn't know his ar5e from his elbow with electronics, so there is plenty of footage of cumulus nimbus and cirrus stratos etc.

but i think there is a clip of one of my stacks (yes, i had another go) which i'll convert to mpeg and give you a laugh.

i nearly stacked it into my BM as well!!!!

Daren,

Use this formula:

Cost of plane/time used before crash = cost per minute.

I bet it's scary....

beemerboy 15 May 2003 02:04 PM

so far running at £50 per minute!!!

i can tape the wing up a bit, so no cost there, therefore the TCO should come down at the next test flight!!!

its a lot different to the cars mate!!! there's the 3rd dimension for a start!!
