Have to agree with many of the points here but I won't bore you all repeating them all!:D

A few points though, re motorway limits, if the vast majority of the country feel 70 is too slow and will happily go faster, why don't the govt. look at that and adjust the limit accordingly...or is it a revenue thing?;)

Pedestrians, why do they expect to walk into the road and everything to be fine? It's like walking into a jungle and expecting the Tiger looking at you to say "it's OK, you just walk past, I won't eat you, I'll wait for a Gazzelle". More emphassis should be put on pedestrians to look after themselves, I'd like to know, of all pedestrian related accidents, how many pedestrians were in the road versus cars on the pavement? I do agree drivers could be better too, perhaps if we weren't all watching our speedo's......

I have a small gripe with the boy racer thing too. I'm 25 and have a lightly modified Fiesta si and I fear I'm seen as a boy racer, however, I know full well my driving whoops ass big time on a lot of older, supposedly better drivers:p

Bob

ps, please don't lower our speed limits:D:D

It's alweays the way... I buy a nice reasonably speedy car, and the speed limits get lowered... :(

Some good points made. Again, to keep bandwidth down, I'll not repeat them.

I would support some 20 limits at certain times of the day (e.g. outside schools during arrival/leaving times) but I firmly believe it is up to the pedestrian to LOOK what they are doing. What do they expect to win? A Darwin award maybe...? Has anyone seen or heard about the Green Cross Code lately?

So many questions that won't get answered by the people who we (as the population of the country) put in charge....
