Craig, I'll get back to you....are you looking @ 1 car and 2 drivers ?

Tony, shall we do the same hotel or seek an alternative ?

I'll confirm trackside insurance within the next few days :)

Type R 05 October 2002 07:56 AM

Might pop along, and raise my ugly head, seeing as only on the doorstep.

5903 05 October 2002 09:31 AM

Mellow

All paid up and will be making an appearance with the STI7.

May even have the PPP fitted by then !!?? Well i can hope.

Nils

PS: Let me know when you've sorted the insurance.

ARRON BIRD 05 October 2002 09:35 AM

Mellow I am looking at 3 cars.
Andy O`Hara will want to do the full day in his M3
Me and Steve will want to share a day and share cars so we dont firk them both ;)

Diesel 05 October 2002 11:18 AM

I'm definitely on.

Mellow, any chance of running it anti-clockwise? Will add variety and avoid my front left always ending up as an useless slick! Maybe anti-clockwise after lunch even?

Damn I think that's a good idea! Anyone agree?

Also can my mate bring his 911 4? Should help fill up the trophy cabinet for us!

P1 Enthusiast 05 October 2002 11:24 AM

Tried to join SIDC board to confirm my interest - join didnt work as an option to get a login :(

In short
a) Definitely on for the day
b) How do i pay for it and SIDC membership online?

Scooby shop doesnt work for me, says not finished yet.

Phil 05 October 2002 12:40 PM

Email Lee@sidc.co.uk if you are experiancing problems

Phil

ARRON BIRD 05 October 2002 12:42 PM

Do we have to join the SIDC to compete???
Sorry take part ;)

T5NYW 05 October 2002 02:37 PM

Mellow,
don't mind which hotel but thought you didn't like the take-away breakfast :( the beans kept falling out of the bread

Tony

Bob Fuller 06 October 2002 09:02 PM

Just for clarification, is this a real driver training day or just a track day? If driver training then the wife and I could be interested. Can't see any prices on the SIDC forum? What about bringing kids along, can they sit in the stands or anything?

Bob

T5NYW 07 October 2002 02:54 AM

Tony

Mellow Yellow ! 07 October 2002 06:56 AM

Hi Matt, it'll be good to see you mate, coming in the pocket rocket ?

Arron, the more the meerrier mate, although you don't need to be an SIDC member to take advantage of this event the forthcoming 12 month calender of events would be financially advantageous to you with great savings if you were a member ! Just a thought mate.

Diesel, most of you tarts struggle when going the right way around the track ;) So God knows what you'd be like going the opposite way around   ;)

P1, you should be able to pay on-line in the shop but as Phil suggests please drop an e-mail to Lee if you're still having problems :)

Bob, driver training is equal to the "old" term, Trackday, but plenty of pro- instruction will be available on the day so come and experience one of the best circuits around :) I'll let you know soon about the kids :)

Please not that Freeserve is down at the moment, has been for 2 days so whilst I can access my e-mail I can't send any :(

CraigH 07 October 2002 10:07 AM

Arron,

Yep we have - and got a new helmet with extra large chin strap. :D

Don't recall you ever spanking me when I had the Scoob, let alone this thing :p

As to breaking down -it's got a bog std factory engine in it, dry sumped for reliability - why should it break down? It's not a tuned Scoob or Skyline ya know - being driven by a wannabe rally star http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/tosser1.gif;)

Diesel 07 October 2002 10:07 AM

Mellow you cheeky boy! ROFLMAO :) Tarts drive 22B's anyway and not STI V's;) Pimps however drive GT....

D ;)

Andrew O'Hara 07 October 2002 12:57 PM

Mellow,

I've booked mate. I hope Arron hasn't paid for me as I just paid myself;) Hopefully it will be a good day:D

philgr 07 October 2002 10:17 PM

Booked !!!!
Myself (MY00 PPP) and a friend (Civic Type R), will put some arms up backs tomorrow and get GAZK (P1) to book up tomorrow.

How about a list of confirmed people and cars so we can get a idea of the numbers and type of machinery on display,
(and so we can blag rides)

Phil G
