Well not sure if this helps this debate or not but mine is numer 391 and on the certificate it has a thick blue border round it , top lfet the Rb5 logo and then on the right says Prodrive Enhancement. Gives you the reg and edition no.
and has the WRSport Logo on the Speedo !!
And i must point out is for sale in the for sale section as a genuine WR Sport, at only £16,000, a much better price than dealers !!!!
Hope this helps !

If you have the RB5 cert it looks like you have the WR version. When the RB5 was marketed it was done as 2 variants. The standard and the WR version. The only differences is the PPP, rear wing and speedo logo. If you look at WWW.SIDC.co.UK then goto the FAQ you can see the specs of the RB5's over a standard MY99. I can only assume the salesman is post RB5 days not to know about the WR version or he's just a nonse.

ROFLMAO @ doo but aren't all salesmen nonses :D

391 and logo on the speedo bang goes my earlier theory then. Just can't explain the logo on the rev counter  unless they ran out of speedo heads :p ;)

Thats it then. Its a WR Sport. Phew. I will go and educate the salesman! Would still like to know why logo is in the wrong place but dont suppose I'll ever know. Thanks for all the comments. I suppose I will have to try to catch up on some work now.

Surely they wouldn't replace the head; just rub a transfer onto the dial face?

Assuming that is correct then somebody new / different at Prodrive did it and put it on the wrong dial. Job done and RB5320's car in worth more because it's unique!

Fen

I'd still like to see a piccy of the dash in a WRSport though...

I run a my00 with ppp i use 16" wheels in winter and 17" in summer ( same tyres ) the handling is vastly better on 17"

What you have to remember is that the WRSport pack was offered to RB5 customer when the car was new but couldnt be fitted until after it was registered due to Type Approval regulations. This is the same for any UK car with a PPP fitted.

AFAIK the other thing to note is that the WRSport kit to buy after was more expensive than the price offered to RB5 customers so if you have all the bits either someone paid for a WRSport version or paid a lot more getting all the bits after ;). Either way you have a WRSport spec car ;).
