hi RB5ray, i'm sure i see u driving about sunday evening.
i was in my RB5 in the Shell garage just off the A2 in Bexleyheath area.
Woz it u?

i got a standard model only with the prodrive back box (was fitted when i bought it)

Modifications i am planning on getting:

the scoobysport downpipe & de-cat centre pipe (to decrease turbo lag and increase low range torque)

fit the prodrive rear spoiler (performance subaru can supply this cheaper than my m8 can get it for trade price at a subaru dealers)

fit 380mm front discs and alcon prodrive calipers

I do not want to take the RB5 away from its authenticity so these are mods that are well worth the money and keep it pretty standard looking.

I aint bothered about the power, its fine as it is, i've had my racing days in other cars and my wife worries about me in it as it is.

My philosaphy is that the faster u make it the faster u will drive it, with the massive increase of cameras, guns, gatsos etc it just aint worth it anymore.

but njoy the RB5, its a limited model and always turns heads.

have u managed to pull that grin off your face every time you put ur foot down yet???

I havent, i had mine since may and i still have this massive grin.....

was very possibly me on A2.
you seem 2 been planning the same sort of mods as me, think it looks pretty good as it is.planning on AP racing brakes as mine are pretty rusted up, tried wire wooling them 2day with out much success. Also fog lights wont work, i'll get the dealer on it, i cant figure the prob.
As 4 driving it, i look like a cheshire cat on every corner.....

they r not fog lights, they r driving lights.

they work when you put the switch on (next to the rear fog light switch) and put the full beam on (or Flash).

i had this same problem and the dealers didnt even no, one of their mechanics knew tho.

hope this helps
