i;ve never rated him tbh, without that car and his team mate getting the crap end of the stick he would never have won any of his champs.

i think you'd have only needed 3 gears tbh it was that far ahead and they shafted webber that hard

Honda are leaving the building,,,,,,

Given mercedes saying they wont supply redbull with engines and their treatment of renault, that leaves them with ferrari engines, o dear,,,,,

when you make a rod for your own back it tends to hurt

So stroll poorly and the hulkster in,

spoiler alert

So he came in 20th, which sounds a bit crap, untill you look at the fact he was 0.9 seconds off his team mate, going in cold to quali without turning a wheel for 3 months. Pretty dam impressive. If he doenst get a drive next year there are some serious fools in the F1 paddock

JDM_Stig 11 October 2020 08:08 PM

Hamilton matched the record set by the German cheat . .

And finished comfortably in the points no less. should never have lost his drive in the first place.

The weather was a leveller today which kicked that "It's all about the car" nonsense out the window.
Today Lewis proved beyond any doubt what an utterly incredible driver he is.

Agreed, he definitely did it with some style, lapping his teammate showed his dominance. I really liked that Perez got second as well, it was a real middle finger to racing point.

And he walked away . . .

The halo looks terrible but there is no denying it saved his life.

I agree too he was in the car for a good ten seconds whilst on fire, with out the halo...... Who knows how long he would have been there.

RobsyUK 01 December 2020 07:04 PM

Yeah, his steering wheel was missing when he went to jump out the car, Gunter mentioned it in the Sky interview,
Flame suit on but im not convinced the halo did protect him like people seem to think as the bottom of the survival cell went thru/into the barrier and stopped,
The angle it rested at was halo out towards the track, if he had gone in nose first then there is no doubt it would have protected him, but it looks like he went in bottom / floor first.

Sorry, Grosjean wouldn't have been here today if it weren't for the Halo, Just take a look at the latest pictures released by the FIA and you can see the damage to the top of the Halo,
