You are comparing a modified remapped car to a standard car, but lets put this into perspective, below 2.5k your car is dead, lifeless, the jdm twin scroll out of the factory will pull from as low as 1500 rpm which makes it more flexible for every day driving, simples :thumb:

im yet to see any standard cars do anywhere near that, any graphs for comparison?

What a load off b******* its easy to keep in the boost. You drop a gear or two as your breaking for the corner so when you lift off the clutch and brake and get on the gas your at the right rpm. Lag is only there when your in the wrong gear at the wrong time. Launch the car and will have no lag up untill top speed :cuckoo:

Please, stop talking **** and listen to what is being said, twin scroll, no need for the above, single scroll will catch you out far more on a daily drive than any twin scroll, even my 1600cc twin scroll will whoop a single scroll 2.5 from low revs, damn even medium revs as its peak torque band is 1900-5500 rpm and its totally alive, that is the difference, the driving experience.

Here is a torque graph of my Peugeot RCZ R, yes that is less than 2k rpm on its 1600cc Twin Scroll engine producing its maximum torque :p (bottom rhs)

Yet to see any EJ257 produce its torque that low down its rev range ;)

You can't compare a normal engine to a boxer, you will never see a boxer engine produce torque under 2000rpm it's too lazy.
