I was never saying u are looking for a fight Katana.

'I preffer my fights to be in dojos or the ring where at the end of it, you'll still be friends and have respect for each other. In a street fight, there are no winners, just pain.'

Do u see what I mean? This sounds like something out of a Bruce Lee movie! If you can handle yourself fair enough. Its just that most people I met in life who talk about how hard they are etc, simple arent't. They are trying to prove something!
The silent ones are the ones to watch!

Katana: You were lucky the girls didn,t join in, believe me I have seen women fighting vicious is a mild word to describe it, and one time whilst having problems with a lad his girlfriend jumped on my back and was trying to gouge my eyes out. Still going to help your mate was a good thing to do

Again I make another referral. This time to Hol:-

'If it does come down to violence, never trade punches unless you have to. Life never emulates TV.

As Katana, has shown, there is always more subtle ways once you enter their personal space. A sharp kite jab to the throat for example.'

So a jab to the throat is more subtle than a punch??? Far more dangerous too!! All of this whole thread seems to analyse TV style macho confrontations!!! You do what u do in a situation thats it!
