Even if she survives it ,it doesn't go down well for her as they are pretty ruthless I'm a local councillor and you have to be squeaky clean in everything you do |

I wonder what the benefits are to being a councillor as it seems some quite undesirable people are keen to get on the gravy train :confused: 15-20 k for county level if your very lucky Most Councillors have part time jobs as well or retired on a good pension and want to put something back into the community Generally you do it for the prestige and the feel good factor Nothing but hassel 80 % of the time but that 20% when people thank you for making improvements ,atending civil duties or opening new projects or switching on the Xmas lights and 2000 people turn up makes it all worth while But you have to be a certain sort of character |
