the insurance is half of what I'm paying now, the car is half the price of the type-r, the running cost's are a hell of a lot better, its looking a hell of a lot cheaper already!!:lol1:

Me too, but i want an sti anyway, so im thinking of the future :norty:

The focus 1.8 TDi LX 5d (98) 0-60 in 12.1 :( 57=mpg  insurance group 5 :notworthy

The 306 2.0 HDi LX 5d 0-60 in 12.4, mpg=54, insurance group 5

Its a close one, suppose it depends on which can be bought cheaper, im after a real cheap mofo :D

I've found a nice 1.8 tdci 3dr sport for around the £7500 mark!! its really nice but its 164 miles away, not sure if gav will drive that far for a car:wonder: hold on I drove to Brighton with him to get his so I should be in with a chance!?:lol1:

speedymonkey 20 February 2007 09:53 PM

Had a 306 before and it was a good runner, obviously not a scoob, but was cheap as chips, i personally quite like the shape too, on the other hand altho ive never really liked the focus, its is a good allrounder, with more space to load things into, so its a close call :wonder:

Bang on some cheap rims, they look the rather cool i think

At a guess, 164 miles north would be over the border, near Lockerbie.

South, I'm thinking Bristol is about that far. Just a guess though.

you could organise a SMACS drive out and that way you'll get the car checked over by about 20 petrol heads and also get a major discount due to the noise and obvious traffic mayhem we'll cause to the neighbourhood:norty:

Evening people and my darling angel;)

United deserved the victory. And even as a Liverpool fan you must admit what they did after the United goal was a farce and they should be kicked out. Who's the coach to tell them to come off. What a tw@t:mad:
