Because it is a Euro import it does not support prodrive upgrades and the Subaru dealer i go to doesn't care about the mods against the warranty as long as i don't go too far so a little bit hear and there as long as the service book is up to date is okay.
But like the point about the suspension mods as i agree it doesn't handle as well as i thought it would, before you drive one you think that a 4WD car is the dogs but i have felt more comfortable in rear wheel drive cars when going through the twisties there is too much body roll on the WRX it doesn't seem as planted as it should be...
