Likewise you have no way of knowing he did not mean it. The only person who will ever know that is Cisse.

Didn't he say in an interview after that he just hit it.

Erm then you've just undone your own argument. Precisely this, he just hit it and it could have gone anywhere. Great to watch yes but no way was that amount of slice intentional or controlled and therefore a fluke shouldn't be goal of the season.

Taking the ball as he did, getting that amount of slice on a ball is easy.

Anyone of my vintage who went from the old Mitre Multiplex footballs to the Adidas Tango will know how much easier that ball was to swerve. I used to practice corners from the right corner flag, hit the ball with the outside of my right foot and aim just inside the 6 yard box. Getting the ball to the back stick maybe a yard out wasn't difficult.

With the modern ball, and a world class player, swerve like Cisse got, is easy.

Ronald McDonald? Isn't Terry clown enough? :D

P1Fanatic 05 May 2012 10:16 PM

Played Chelsea. Deserved it over the 90 mins.

Whats your thought's on the final this Sat lads?

I'm nervous already, not working tomorrow either so the wait will be unbareable, bloody hate evening kick off's too so have all day tomorrow and Sat to stew over it :wonder:

I think it will hinge on both sideshow bob and Cahill starting, anything but the unibrow at CB please, lol. Hope the Drog starts too!

An0n0m0us 18 May 2012 09:57 AM

My money is on the krauts to win.

Yep, if Bosingwa starts at CB we're doomed :( can't see Torres starting, and Ramires will be the biggest loss.
After beating Barca, anything is possible :)

Funkii Munkii 18 May 2012 10:46 AM

Name on the cup Paul surely ?

He could play Essien or Ferreira at CB :freak3:

S*#ting Bricks!!

richie001 19 May 2012 06:59 PM

Cahill and Luiz fit.Bertrand to start, what a game to make your CL debut.

FlightMan 19 May 2012 07:08 PM

Good to see Bosingwa start.

:D

Fancy the Plastics to win this. I can see Drogba running riot. When he's not rolling on the floor. :nono:

FlightMan 19 May 2012 07:18 PM

Nice shot just now of plastic flags. At least in confirms the real Chelsea have turned up.

:D

Aaron1978 19 May 2012 07:19 PM

I fancy a Chelsea win, we don't want ze Germans to win:D

An0n0m0us 19 May 2012 07:26 PM

I want Chelsea to win just to stop Spurs playing in the Champions League next season plus it's England vs Germany so even though it's Chelski I have to support them. I still think Bayern will win in their own backyard though.

hodgy0_2 19 May 2012 07:45 PM

Chelsea to win only if terry gets sent off, otherwise bayern

Terry is suspended.

hodgy0_2 19 May 2012 08:01 PM

Ahah, brilliant, off course because of the sending off against barca

Okay maybe that, and ousting spurs is enough to root for the blues

hodgy0_2 19 May 2012 08:04 PM

But if he was removed from the stadium for violent conduct in attacking the bayern manager it would defo clinch it

chocolate_o_brian 19 May 2012 09:11 PM

Got two small bets on Bayern by certain scores :D
