WOW now that's a lot of gauges Frayz lol!
Lovely work though mate. |
As said before. I don't have to look at them as theyre alarmed. Nice to get the clearer road view with them no longer on the a pillar.

Well guys its been a good 4 years since ive taken any photos of the car other than her build thread.
We've all had a tough time with the lack of summer this year so with the rarity of the sun shining this morning i took the car out for a drive and got some photos. Some of you will know the car has been nicknamed "The Bomber" by my close friends, so seemed fitting to take her up my local airfield for some snaps. Thanks for looking, Frayz :) Attachment 51682 Attachment 51683 Attachment 51684 Attachment 51685 Attachment 51686 Attachment 51687 Attachment 51688 Attachment 51689 Attachment 51690 Attachment 51691 Attachment 51692 Attachment 51693 Attachment 51694 Attachment 51695 Attachment 51696 Attachment 51697 Attachment 51698 |

Today I took the bomber for some new boots.
I always go to Damien at http://www.skidmarquesltd.com/ in Hutton, Brentwood for tyres and alignment. Superb service as always. Now fitted with 4 new Michelin Pilot Supersport, the drive home was night and day different to the way there. Obscene amounts of grip and feel from a road tyre. You can see why these are OEM on Ferrari, Porsche and BMWs M cars. Very very pleased. :) Attachment 51699 Attachment 51700 |

All looks fantastic as always Frayz :D
Keep up the good work buddy! Rob |
Darn foreign Internet ! (double posting)

Fantastic car Frayz, looks perfect. Hold on to it and don't give it away for a fraction of the build cost. It looks much more subtle without the decals.
I'm biased as I've got a bugeye Prodrive, but I've never really been impressed with the looks of any Scoobies since this model. Although the latest 4-door saloon does look good with a spoiler added. |
Thanks Andy. :)

I'm sure you've been asked before but do you get much hassle with that plate mounted there?
|
looks great frayz, thanks for the excellent fitting job on my roof flap.
havent had a chance to drive it in the sun yet due to getting a new car but gave the car a polish last week and the job is a1 and looks factory fit. http://i890.photobucket.com/albums/a...715_160120.jpg http://i890.photobucket.com/albums/a...715_160446.jpg |

Just read through both of the threads from start to finish... I'm currently unsure what day it is, but who cares, because I have just witnessed one of the most detailed and precise builds I have ever read about... I did read somewhere that you're not interested in a mag shoot because you think most people already know about it... or something like that? well i think you should enquire... It's good for business :thumb:

Maybe one day I'll get a mag shoot but I'm never happy enough with the car to display it to the world as a feature car. There's always something new to do haha. Thanks for the kind words though mate. How comes you found the old thread? Chance? |

Droplinks now on with sleeker hardware to give clearance under droop.

Wow, I think I'm more impressed that you managed to read all that! Probably about 100 pages I guess?
