94impreza, good on ya mate :thumb:

Some people here just seriously overate the M3, it aint all that at all.

M3's are most certainly slower than a bugeye Sti. I just had one follow me all the way home. Even at 60kmh he couldnt pass me, so he must have been slower :D

Sorry mate, that was from March 3rd, I think there is a couple of half days coming up in April so may have to get on one of those if your up for it. Going Jerez this weekend so will have to see the money situation with the missus as to what can spend playing :D

Afterreading this thread and seeing everyone views on wrx this sti that, m3 this csl that. Being a Bmw fan and a scooby lover this is my conclusion. Bmws E36 M3 EVO is just say imho is a 3.2 320bhp at new. Lets take a subaru P1 for example. average 280 to 290bhp depending on age and how well its treated. MY experience is the M3 is heavey, the P1 weighs a meer 1200Kg (Roughly weight of a fiesta zetec 1.6). Bigdifference in power to weight ratio, the scooby WILL pull faster 0-60 and possable pickup from 40 to 50 COULd be quicker but the bmw has a heavey ass end.
But then who cares? ALL bmw drivers are TO***RS i know because i WAS one of them. :D

Oh - and the 'book' says a standard WRX only does 146mph. (if we're going to get anal about figures!)

goto google and search subaru FAQ data and there are dynos and spped runs of the classic in standard form should be 215 bhp standard and all are well above 235bhp.
Also the speed runs some top out at 160 top been 163 M3 suck

I have been saying this for years. The only companies that are within 2% of their stated figures are porsche and audi :thumb:

I have seen two BMW Coupes on the RR - an M3 and a 330Ci coupe. It was a hot day and both cars were within 10bhp of the manufacturers figures.

Only one way people will be happy is if we get a RR Day between bmw and
Scooby,s.
They can tell you low down, mid, and top end power+torque,
Torque of the Devil in Uxbridge has a new RR only 4 months old,
So will be spot on, if not Santa pod,s 1/4 mile is fun.
