With a nur spec , don't you mean listen out for you? :D

Paul.

averyp2 21 March 2007 12:45 PM

yer i love that noise, cant get enough of it! Changing from a 1.6 which had a ok sound to this has put a permanent smile on my face:)

Molds 21 March 2007 12:52 PM

Is it a full system averyp2 or just the b/b?

I have full NUR Spec and I love it too although it can be a bit much on a longer journey. I could use the bung I suppose but it seems...wrong! :) Fact is I dont do many long trips in it so doesnt really matter. Absolutely the best sounding system for the Impreza though IMO - I had a couple of different setups and cant imagine swapping this baby :D

averyp2 21 March 2007 01:04 PM

full system:notworthy
i originally had plans to take the k&n filter off but in fairness it makes a lovely sound. And your right about the long journeys, i drove it back from Cornwall yesterday, im still shouting at people now!:freak3:

Molds 21 March 2007 01:05 PM

Haha, lmao! You defo wanted the bung in for that journey! Did you get one with it?

averyp2 21 March 2007 07:29 PM

No i didnt, i didnt even realise they came with them, you learn something new everyday! They dont save fuel do they?!?!
I just cant help but keep driving it :luvlove:

rob4620 21 March 2007 07:41 PM

lol..nice one mate!!

Nur Spec R...that exhaust loud then??? Wonder if its louder than mine!?!? lol

averyp2 21 March 2007 11:23 PM

I dunno how it rates against others impreza exhausts but its loud enough! the girlfriend hasnt been in it yet, cant wait to see what she says about the noise :norty:
liking the alloys on the ra mate, are they bk racing? Im wanting those in gold with silver lip when funds allow

Molds 22 March 2007 11:30 AM

Very nice Rob4620! Tell us a bit about it :)

Averyp2. I bought a second hand NUR Spec bung when I had a TSL Firestorm b/b. ALways planned to drill a fixing hole in the Firestorm and then use the bung for those early starts or motoway journeys. Never did get around to it! Then I got the full Blitz system and it came with a bung so I actually have two. You can have one if you'd like? It won't save you any petrol lol But it may save you and the girlfriend a headache on long journeys! In fact the guy I had my Blitz off used to prefer the sound with the bung it :o Daft as it sounds I have not ever tried with the bung in lol

-Sorry Rob - I keep forgetting about the View My Scooby option...Drrr!

Molds 22 March 2007 11:33 AM

Oh, and everyone keep an eye out today - I'm in the Scoob! First time its been out in 2 1/2 weeks!!

wrxseeker 22 March 2007 11:46 AM

Leamington, Warwick, Cov etc...u guys up for a meet sometime soon??? We all gonna do a convoy over to Shakespeare on 1st if you are going? Or just a meet up sometime soon!??!?!

rob4620 23 March 2007 12:03 AM

You can follow my progress on my thread

https://www.scoobynet.com/projects-4...n-project.html

If anyone ever wants to come and watch some sprinting or hillclimbing drop me a PM I'm sure I can sort some freebie entry tickets for the warwickshire lads.

Renton I would come up to a meet, albeit in my van.

Had the car at Zen today for a few final touches and Paul found even more power!

Upto 420bhp now!

Dyno pics in view my scooby.

Rob.
