its very good, it is a nice step up over the 50D I had.

But if I was to be honest, it would be my skills that let it down rather than the camera, but thats half the fun, learning and trying different things

Hi....ive never tried the SD Wifi cards but i had a feeling they wont be as fast as they claim to be. Maybe ok for pictures but wouldn't try Wifi-ing big video files....might take ages.
I used to have a 7D...a very tuff solid camera. The same year i bought it i took it to japfest at brands hatch on one of the hottest days of the year and was using it in the burning sun all day and it didnt complain about over heating and shut off (like my 500D used to do)
very good choice.

Hi ian....also have you heard of 'Magic Lantern' software for canon cameras?
its a home made FREE software that runs/ boots off the memory card...so it doesnt install over the canon software.
The Magic Lantern software unlocks canon cameras and also gives you video and picture shooting options that we will never see in canon cameras for many years to come.
things like Motion Detect, good for taking pictures of lightening ect...
dual ISO picture taking ( i think this is now available in the latest canons) , too many options to list.
check out the website....
http://www.magiclantern.fm/

WARNING....may get addictive !
