Default Fiat Punto: broken pipe.. what is it?

Cleaning my car today, DA Polisher etc,
opened engine bay and noticed this pipe had come apart... if i push it back to the other section of pipe it fits together like a jigsaw... but obviously is snapped.

What's if for.... is it important, can I still drive it while it's like that?
If it's the AC, mine doesn't work anyway as the compressors had it and would cost more than the car to fix!

what should I do??
:hmmmm2:

I think it is too, car drives fine, can't say how long it could of been like it lol

Think I might glue it, insulation tape it and add a jubilee on it just to be sure
