its certainly a lot bigger than the one we have back in the UK, this is a 1.8 automatic - a little underpowered for my tastes lol

there is also a type r model, but i think its really pricey

ps Is that a bit of HDR photography in the first pic, did you take it yourself, if so what camera/lens do you use?

yeah its HDR and i took it myself, its not the HDR photography that makes it look like this, its the tonemapping of the HDR image

im using an olympus evolt e410 with standard lens set up and no filter

check this one out, its a 35 shot panorama stitched with a program called hugin, taken in HDR and then tonemapped with a program called photomatix

Awesome pic!
So after you apply HDR in e.g. Photoshop, you then tonemap it in Photomatix? Cant Photoshop (or whatever program does the HDR) tonemap it too?

Iv tried a few HDR images but I usually end up losing the clarity & sharpness of the image when applying HDR in Adobe Photoshop.

no i dont think that photoshop can tonemap the images. my advice to you is to always use a tripod where possible, it maybe that you are losing clarity due to slight movements when you are taking the photo!

photomatix can generate the HDR image and tonemap it. i only use photoshop for final adjustments after i finish the tonemapping.

i think photomatix has got a free trial download, but when you export the image it has a watermark. i cant remember but i think i downloaded a patch or a serial key from somewhere.

'Qtpfsgui' is also another free tonemapping program, and i think it has no watermarks on the image

LOL Mattee......funny picture!!!

Isn't the Civic shown the FD2 model that you can import here?

Litchfield can get hold of the Type-R variant although for the power they make, they seem pretty pricey new.......I'd rather have a Hawkeye JDM Scoob and I'm a big VTEC fanboy
