Recon Gearbox
Hope one of you automotive gurus can help
We have a 2004 Civic Type R in at work at the mo in need of a replacement gearbox. We managed to source a low milage gearbox locally but it turns out that it was from a 2007 car and the speed sensor is run from the ABS sensors rather than the geabox thus meaning the box we have is useless.
Can anyone reccomend a company where we would be able to source a recon gearbox? Dont mind it being on an exchange basis, in fact that may be better as it would work out cheaper
I have filled out numerous breakers website forms to try and find a box but the gamble with that is that should we buy a used box from a breaker, the box may have issues of its own. So I am really looking for a recon box to minimise the possibility we could have trouble with the replacement
Someone must know where I could try, please
