Default Book price for a 2002 VW polo please ?.

Looking to sell my parents VW polo 2002 5 door for them, Automatic 1.4 ltr, 43K miles and good condition. I think they paid top price for it less than 3months ago at 5K, from a non franchise dealer and don't expect to get back anything like what they spent.

But before I advertise it, can someone tell me what it books at ?.

Thanks
Rob

Forgot to mention this is the SE model and mileage is 43K not 70K so that valuation needs to be updated to reflect. But can't without paying some money. I'm being a cheap scate but looking for someone who has full access to acurate valuation.?

I still doubt it will come back at 5K, but hopefully a little closer and gives me a better idea where to pitch it.

Cheers anyway

Private good condition on you model books at 3345 with 70k on the clock so prob a few hundred more for lower milage, you might get 4k if your lucky, depends how fast you want to sell

Thanks for that - Looking to realise anything over 3K and nearer the 3.5K if possible.

Its currently on Fleebay with a BIN of £4K and option for offers, and I'm getting sub 3K offers which I was beginning to wonder if they might be realistic, but will hold out for more on the strenght of this.

The standard dealers 3 months RAC warranty has only just run out, and even have the original bill of sale for 5K so a bitter pill to swallow even if they managed to get 3.5K for it.

Unfortunately doctor told him, he can't drive anymore so left me in charge to sell for them and want to get as much as I can for them, but in the same vain do want to sell it.

WhatCar do free valuations. Not too sure how accurate they are tho. Best option is to take a look at the average prices on autotrader or such like
