Well to cut a long story short i bought an 55 plate 1.25 zetec today. The werid thing is despite all the noise about a credit crunch, Fiesta prices are actually rising slightly at the moment - even WhatCar the price guide say so!
The Ghia i went to visit turned out to be a cat d which had had front and rear repair work with no receipts etc That combined with no service history was enough to make me walk away....

Those 1.25 Zetecs are cracking little cars. I've driven one a few times as a courtesy car whilst having the service done on the Scoob, and can see why they sell so many of them!

The 1.25 Zetec is probably the best engine they put in the Fiesta, I doubt the 1.4 would be much quicker to be honest, the 1.3 was slower than the 1.25!
Sounds like a good buy, not suprised prices are risingas they are good cars, easy and cheap to maintain, ideal in the current climate
get some pics up
