When I had a new clutch fitted, the garage serviced mine while the box was out.I know the owner of the garage and he reccomended getting it done at the same time as it's a real b1tch to get at with the box in.Start your search around the box at the back/underneath the engine.Good luck.

The starter is just below the inlet manifold at the gearbox end of the engine, and is covered up by the inlet manifold support bracket.
2 bolts hold it on which go through the gearbox bellhousing.
Even when you know where it is,its almost impossible to see!! Good luck
