Traded the Ka in and got an S-Reg Ford Focus LX with 1.8 Zetec engine 
(cheers for the help on the valuating guys)
Comes with Air con, Front heated windscreen/side mirrors & CD player (with stalk)
Picking her up Tuesday (gives me time to swap the stereo in my Ka over to the original Ford 5000 model)
The Passat tempted me for a while, but was 1K more expensive and didn't have aircon or full service history (but did have 10K less miles).
So much better than the Ka, much roomier inside, it seems big without looking big (if you get my drift).

I think you'll like it, they're great to drive and dead comfy I want an ST170 but can't afford one
My mate got a RS a week ago but wrote it off today, before I had a go in it
