Default Any car on the market do it for you?

So little interest in most cars these days. What's on offer just utterly boring and so uninteresting.. Only got two that do it for me:-

1. Renault Alpine 110. Yes please
2. Alfaa Giulia GTA. Yes please

Maybe an Audi Avant RS4 or RS6. Otherwise, car market just so rubbish at moment. Think classics way to go

Had this in earlier in the week:

Had a supercharger upgrade, so useless as a daily driver

+1 for the Giulia, looks lovely.

Although I’m into hatch/fastbacks and estates at the moment for practicality ...difficult to get stuff in that body shape with the right drivetrain (big engine with 5+ cylinders that not over-reliant on a turbo to give it the torque, proper manual gearbox, AWD and suspension that works on our roads).

The MX5 as been a mainstay for some time. Mazda seem to be on point with their current designs. It was mentioned on TG and I have to agree.

Just bought a NC (mk3) hardtop to replace my mk2.5 and I love it, the new one is gorgeous and still a drivers car.

+1 Alpine A110
Cayman 918 GTS 4.0
Civic Type R (new stealthier one only, though)
AMG A45 S

There just doesn't seem to be many affordable, compact-sized, 'driver's cars' on sale today.

They are horrible (IMHO)

The Roadster is Stunner. Rest of the range looks like an old Ford Escort. Sorry! But they do

A90 Supra with that B58 engine
GR Yaris
The coming Tesla Model S Plaid with its claimed 8 sec 1/4
New M3‐M4 if can get over the look

Then on the extreme lotto win level

Merc Project 1 with the 1.5L F1 engine
Aston Valkarie with that V12 spinning to 12krpm
Gordon Murrays new Mclaren F1 replacement
Lotus Evija (or whoever you spell it)

For an affordableish car, I quite fancy the Toyota Yaris GR: https://www.toyota.co.uk/world-of-to...cing/gr-yaris/

4wd with torsen LSDs, modern turbo.

Could be fun, for only 33500

I've just gone from an AMG A45 to a circuit pack Yaris , and its a lot more fun , obviously not as well built , or as many creature comforts as the Merc , but it puts more of a grin on my chops !
The other 2 cars are great fun as well , don't know when rallying will start up again but looking forward to using the Swift

It was built by Suzuki Motorsport in Denmark to the S2000 rules over there , so N/A 2.0 full spec dry sumped engine supposedly 280-290hp , Sadev 6 speed sequential gearbox , Ohlins 3 way suspension , Alcon calipers under 18" wheels , Proto cars wide arch body kit , it's a very good spec , well built car as you would expect from a works team , goes like hell !
