Does it actually make economic sense?
Lets work on the assumption you bought a MY00 brand new in Mar 2000.
How much is it worth today? Courtesy of Parkers,
MY00 with 60000 miles £10,160
MY00 with 30000 miles £12,930
Is it worth buying a 2nd car? You get no repect in a non descript car, its boring, woudn't you rather be in the scoob?
Dont forget that the other car needs another insurance policy (you don't get no claims on a 2nd car) tax, MOT, and servicing.
